Ingredients: For the base of the cake.
1 and Half cup All purpose Flour (Maida)
1 cup Sugar.
3 table spoon unsweetened cocoa powder.
5 table spoon oil.
1 teaspoon baking soda
half teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 cup cold water.
For whipping cream.
4 cups heavy whipping cream.
1 cup sugar or according to taste.
For topping:
shredded dark chocolate.
chocolate toppings (i used ghirardelli)
Method.
Take a bowl ,shift the flour in the bowl with the help of a shifter.Shift the cocoa powder and sugar in the bowl.Then add vinegar,vanilla extract,salt,oil,baking soda and water into the mixture.Blend the mixture well with the help of a blender or in the kitchen aid stand mixer using the paddle attachment.
Meanwhile Preheat the oven on 350 degree Take a baking pan, apply oil or butter and sprinkle some flour on it.Pour the mixture in the baking pan.once the oven is ready bake the mixture for 30 minute's or depending upon your oven. Check in between with a toothpick.If the toothpick comes out clear ,it suggests that it is cooked and ready to come out.Take out the base from the oven and place it on the cooling rack. Allow the base to cool down completely , meanwhile start making your whipping cream for Frosting the cake.
For Whipping cream :
Take 4 cups of heavy cream in a bowl,add 1 cup sugar or according to your taste and whip it with the help of a blender.
For the frosting:
Cut the cake into half (transversely)so that you get two base of the cake.Apply the whipping cream with the help of a butter knife all over the base.top it with the shredded chocolate and round chocolate pieces.
